Bag Full of Hope

When children enter foster care, they are often given a trash bag to carry their belongings. We are working to end the term “trash bag kids” by replacing it with backpacks filled with dignity and care.

Each child receives a duffle, backpack, or diaper bag stocked with new and gently used clothing, toiletries, new socks and shoes, underwear, pajamas, a Bible and book, a toy, game, or puzzle, seasonal items, and a handmade card. Bags include additional age-appropriate, developmental, or seasonal items based on individual need.

To-Go Birthday Parties

Our mission is to celebrate the magic of a child’s birthday and spread happiness across Oklahoma. Each of our “To-Go” Birthday Parties includes wrapped age-appropriate gifts, a birthday cake, party supplies, an outfit, a new pair of shoes, and everything needed to make a child’s day feel truly special

Fostering Hope House

Eliminating extended waiting at DHS offices and police stations, Fostering Hope House offers a safe and friendly place for children to await placement, and a comfortable place for siblings to visit each other.

Bathing facilities, kitchen, and respite space make a traumatic time less frightening and more comfortable for children.
